One of the most common questions we get asked when people are looking for casino hire for their wedding is “what tables would you recommend?”.
Firstly, you need to think about the demographic of your guests.
Most wedding will have a mixture of old and young and want to cater for all. If this is the case, then I would suggest Roulette and Blackjack. Both are easy to learn and take no skill involved really. Having said that there is a ‘basic strategy’ for blackjack but let’s be honest the vast majority of people will not know or even need to know this.
Having a fun casino at your wedding should not have to be difficult for people to play, its simply about them enjoying the thrill of a real casino without losing any money.
So how long should I hire the tables for?
Another common question of which my answer always be the same. 2 hours seems to go very quickly whereas 4 hours sometimes seems too long. 3 hours is just about right.
So how many tables do I need?
Again there is a simple question that we would ask you to this. How many guests are you expecting at the wedding?
A lot of people initially contact us and ask for 3-4 tables but when we ask this question it turns out they only have 60-80 guests. 3-4 tables is not only more money but it is too many.
We suggest that for anything up to 120 guests then 2 tables would be fine. Bearing in mind that not everyone is going to play. We would suggest that over the course of 3 hours maybe 75% of guests will ‘have a go’ on the casino tables. And not all at once.
The evening at your wedding should be about giving guests something to talk about the next day. Its about entertaining them and them having a fun time.
If you are considering having a fun casino at your wedding then bear us in mind.
