3 Card Poker

To play 3 card poker, you will need a standard deck of 52 cards and a table with a betting area for Ante, Play, and Pair Plus. The objective of the game is to have a better three-card hand than the dealer. Here's how to play:

  1. Place an Ante bet: Each player places an Ante bet in the betting area to start the game.

  2. Receive your cards: The dealer will deal three cards face down to each player and three cards face down to themselves.

  3. Decide to play or fold: After looking at your cards, you can either fold and forfeit your Ante bet, or make a Play bet equal to your Ante bet to continue playing.

  4. Dealer reveals their cards: The dealer will then reveal their cards and determine if they have a qualifying hand of Queen high or better. If the dealer does not have a qualifying hand, the Ante bet pays even money and the Play bet is returned to the player.

  5. Compare hands: If the dealer has a qualifying hand, the player's hand is compared to the dealer's hand. The higher hand wins. If the dealer has the higher hand, the player loses both the Ante and Play bets. If the player has the higher hand, the Ante bet pays even money and the Play bet pays according to a paytable.

  6. Optional Pair Plus bet: Players can also make an optional Pair Plus bet before the cards are dealt. This bet pays out if the player's hand contains a pair or better, regardless of whether they win or lose the hand.

Overall, 3 card poker is a fun and easy game to play. Just remember to pay attention to the hand rankings and betting options to maximize your chances of winning.
